Get In Flow Whenever You Want To Express Your Creativity And Work On Your Pottery
Having a hobby brings balance to the everyday.
We all need an outlet; for some it’s sport, for some it’s music, and for others it’s making things with their hands.
Life is not about balance and we’re not here to just work our lives away.
That’s why having a way to express yourself and do something that’s just for you is so important.
You’ve all heard the saying that less is more and we promise you you’ll get more done when you just let go of the hussle.
When it comes to stillness there is no normal.
And when it comes to creativity there are no rules.
The first and the most important thing is to be present in this moment
… and when you do that, creativity flows
Pottery is a great way to express yourself and find some stillness in the everyday flow of life
It can feel like we’ve lost the art of learning.
We’re not going to get better at things without practice, and your pottery journey isn’t going to turn into something sustainable without time.
If you want to turn your pottery hobby into something more
… you’ll need to give yourself time and permission to learn the complete pottery process.
The pottery process is actually anti-instant gratification.
We all know that we don’t become musicians in a day, and we don’t become potters in a class.
Pottery like is a practice, like yoga or music and we are here to invite you to practice with us.
Becoming a member of The Pottery Studio is the simplest way to give yourself permission to make space for your hobby and creativity
With 24 access to the studio you get access to the tools, the resources, teachers and our community, which gives you the opportunity to be spontaneous and in flow to make pottery a part of your everyday life and become the potter you always dreamed of.

I loved the 4 week course!
“Our teacher Jai is such a patient soul and we were able to produce some great work that turned out way better than you would think beginners could manage. The venue is lovely and has such a relaxing vibe. Everyone is super friendly but you can also get into your own headspace and relax while you throw your pots. Fabulous and worth every cent!”

Just completed the 4 week sculpture hand building course with Tess.
“Had the best time, met some wonderful people and learned lots of clay skills. Tess was an excellent teacher and knew exactly how to help each person create the most amazing sculptures. If you ever wanted to extend your clay journey, this is the course to book into. Would highly recommend The Pottery Studio.”

Is Pottery an expensive hobby?
Maybe your vision for your pottery practice is to create pieces that you’d use around the house
Or maybe you want to explore your own artistry as a way to become more grounded?
Most people want to attend a class a couple of times a month and then a glazing session to fire and glaze their work
To break it down a little for you
… if you attend two wheel classes a month and come back to glaze you would spend around $200.
Or if hand building is your thing and attended 2 classes a month and come back to glaze your work you’re looking at about $100
Which really is the cost of a coffee a day.
