We’ll also look at how to properly score, slip and reinforce joins so your piece stays strong and stable as it grows.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFrom there, we’ll explore different shaping techniques to create everything from subtle, organic forms to more dramatic curves, spouts and expressive rims. The aim is to give you the confidence to move beyond traditional symmetrical vessels and let the clay guide the shape of your piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll also look at \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003esurface refinement and decoration\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, using rib tools to create either a textured sculptural finish or a smoother, more wheel-thrown appearance.
