Beginner Wheel Throwing (4-Week Course)

Want to master the potter’s wheel from the ground up? Our 4-week beginner wheel throwing course is designed to build your skills and confidence step-by-step.

Over four weeks, same day and time each week, you’ll learn core techniques like centering, shaping, trimming, and surface design - all with hands-on support and expert guidance.

👩🎨 What You’ll Learn:

• Wheel throwing fundamentals - from centering, to shaping, to lifting and trimming

• Basic surface design and finishing techniques

• How clay behaves and how to work with it

• Tips and tricks to refine your skills and overcome challenges

🎁 What’s Included:

• 4 sessions, 2.5 hours each, in our welcoming studio

• Up to 8 wheel-thrown pieces to keep

• Guidance and feedback from skilled facilitators

🛑 Please note: Firing included. Pieces ready to collect or glaze 3 weeks after your last class.

🔞 Minimum age: 16+
