Our 1 Day Intensives are designed to introduce and teach you the skills and art of different pottery techniques in just ONE DAY (6 hours).
Hosted at different times of the year with different themes, options AND pottery teachers, you can find the perfect 1 Day experience for you, and finish with the basic knowledge to even become a member of the studio and continue your making into the future!

Coil Throwing Unique Forms with Aurora Elwell:
Sunday April 27th (8-2pm)
This workshop requires pre-existing wheel skills and is NOT beginner friendly
Learn to combine wheel throwing and coil building together to create stunning larger forms with epic design features!
Beginners Scraffito Course:
Friday May 9th (9-3pm)
Create some unique handbuilt items plus learn to use slip, underglaze AND carving to paint, design, shape and mark make into your pieces. (Staff will clear glaze your work)
Join our Intensive 1 - Day Workshops for simplified and fast-tracked versions of learning, with a variety of different workshop themes to choose from.
With offerings for beginners, AND more advanced workshop choices, these 6 hour sessions provide a quick jumpstart to your creativity, with no long-term commitment required.
These intensives can provide you with the following skills:
- Knowledge about the pottery process from making to firing to glazing.
- Foundational skills in handbuilding or wheel throwing (depending on the course date/theme you choose)
- Specific knowledge or upskilling on making certain themes, shapes, pots, projects.
The workshop price includes all materials, and this course also includes the firing and glazing of your work. At the end of the course, our studio staff will glaze your pieces in a White Gloss Glaze - your work will be ready for pick up 4-6 weeks after your session. You will be notified when work is ready.
