Spiral Throwing Masterclass

Spirals, textures, and movement - all from the wheel.
In this focused one-day masterclass, you’ll explore spiral throwing techniques to create dynamic forms and reveal beautiful surface patterns. You’ll throw on the wheel, then use texture, cutting, and downward spiral techniques to unlock new shapes and designs.

This workshop combines throwing with experimental surface and form techniques. You’ll begin by throwing simple forms, then learn how to spiral the clay downwards and manipulate textures to create expressive, sculptural pieces.
This masterclass is designed for potters with prior wheel experience who want to push their forms beyond the ordinary.
Please note this is not beginner friendly.
